Language Access Services

Prowers Medical Center is committed to giving the best healthcare in the way that our patients and their families understand best. When a patient is hospitalized, the cultural and linguistic barriers can affect the quality of medical attention that a patient receives. In an effort to better serve our patients who do not speak English, Language Interpreter Services are available. These services are an essential part of the healthcare system and community.

If you need a qualified interpreter when you arrive at our hospital, simply notify a member of our nursing staff, one of our physicians/providers or look for any member of the Interpreters Committee Team, who is wearing a Medical Interpreters identification badge, to assist you with coordinating Language Interpreter Services. You may also ask for assistance at the front desk in the main entrance of our hospital.

In-house Language Interpreter Services are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Ask a member of our team for assistance when needing Language Line services after-hours, on weekends and holidays.
