National Hospital Week

National Hospital Week is being celebrated May 12^th through May 18^th! This year’s theme, “We Are Healthcare,” speaks to the unbreakable pledge of healthcare workers to be united in their service of others as they provide quality care to those in need.

National Hospital Week gives us an opportunity to recognize employee achievements, educate the community about the services our hospital offers and highlight the innovative ways we are supporting and connecting to the communities we serve. Throughout this special week, we hold events and activities that recognize the important roles hospitals play in our communities and, most importantly, celebrate every person essential to making our healthcare facilities successful.

Hospitals are always there, ready to care—24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. At Prowers Medical Center, we deliver babies, care for those who are admitted to the hospital, deliver a multitude of outpatient services, provide emergency care for patients and employ staff who are skilled, compassionate and dedicated to delivering quality care with each and every patient encounter. We know that Prowers Medical Center plays a vital role in our region, and we work hard to keep our communities healthy.

During these unprecedented times, hospitals and healthcare workers have taken on unimaginable challenges and routinely rise to the occasion. We work with our community partners to develop and enhance programs and services that are focused on health and wellness. As partners, we just completed our Community Health Needs Assessment, hearing firsthand from area residents what we are doing well and what opportunities we have to improve and enhance the local service delivery of healthcare.
